BULLSEYE
A human hand is visible. The sound adds something to its genre, or the words say something that has not been said, or both.

The AI music critic for AI-assisted creators.
Is there a human behind this song?
AI can now deliver a finished track from a couple of prompts. Sloppen tells it apart from a person who uses AI as an instrument: an idea, a choice, a risk that a prompt would not make by itself.

Sloppen Soundato is a critic built around one question: is there a human behind this song? AI can now deliver a finished, polished track from a couple of prompts. Sloppen exists to tell that apart from a person who uses AI as an instrument, a tool to say something they have to say, in the music, in the words, or both.
Sloppen listens to your track, measures the file and reads your lyrics. Then it looks for a human hand: an idea, a choice, a risk that a prompt would not make by itself. A clean mix, a strong voice and a perfect groove do not count as proof: AI gives those to everyone by default.
BULLSEYE: a human hand is visible. The sound adds something to its genre, or the words say something in a way that has not been said, or both: this track is not one more song already heard. A BULLSEYE does not mean the song is good or marketable, and it does not promise any success. It means that a person's choices can be seen in it.
SLOPPED: the track could have been made with a couple of prompts, with no clear human effort visible behind it, and it adds little to its genre. SLOPPED does not mean bad, and it does not mean that AI made the track by itself. A SLOPPED track can be perfectly produced, perfectly marketable and can even reach the top of the charts: success and slop are not opposites.
A track with a flawless Amapiano groove, a clean mix, a warm voice and lyrics like "low lights, one drink" is perfect inside its genre. It can be marketable: it can fill a playlist and work with ads behind it. Sloppen calls it SLOPPED, because it sounds like thousands of tracks before it and nothing in it needed a person.
A track with a simple sound and a lyric built from a specific, quotable story, an angle its genre has not heard, is BULLSEYE: the words carry the human hand.
A track that reproduces a classic of its genre almost note for note is SLOPPED, however well it is made.
Sloppen cannot prove who made a track or whether AI was used, and it does not try. It judges whether the track shows a mind behind its choices. Sloppen is an AI tool and it is still not perfect: it can make mistakes. It can mishear a sound or a word, misjudge a style, miss what makes a track original, or read the same track differently on another run. Its verdicts, scores and suggestions are opinions to consider, not facts, and they are not a substitute for your own judgment or for professional advice.
A clear line between low-effort, mostly machine-made songs and songs where a person used AI to express something of their own. "My song passed the Sloppen test" should mean: a human hand is visible, and the track adds something of its own.
An AI listens to a compressed version of your audio (mono, reduced quality), while software measures the file itself for loudness, level changes and stereo. Fine details such as sibilance and the top end are judged less reliably, and instruments are described by function, not identified with certainty. Tracks made with Suno also carry traits of the technology itself (a steady high-frequency haze, dense walls of sound), which Sloppen does not count against you.
The critic behind the verdicts.
